Blueface caught a punch at his own baby shower celebration that nearly turned the rapper from spectator into somebody needing a ten count.
Remember the madness involving Chrisean Rock a few days ago? Well, apparently we did not get the entire movie. Or we got it late.
Footage circulating online shows Blueface involved in a separate fight with several men following his baby shower with Nevaeh Akira in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 16. At some point during the melee, somebody catches Blue with a very clean punch and sends him falling backward into the street.
Was Blueface knocked out?
Nah.
Was Blueface knocked DOWN?
It certainly looks that way. Knocked down is not knocked out, ya’ll.
And whoever landed that punch probably has the video bookmarked already.
Blueface got back to his feet and continued fighting as more people became involved. The footage reportedly predates the viral altercation involving Chrisean Rock and another woman later that night. That fight also spilled into the street, with Rock appearing to immediately put her boxing experience to use after the other woman threw the first punch.
This entire sequence sounds less like a baby shower and more like an unreleased episode of a reality show nobody would believe if it were scripted.
The timing gets even crazier.
Nevaeh went into labor right after the fight, reportedly. Blueface and Nevaeh welcomed their first child together, Johnathan Jamall Porter Jr., on Tuesday, August 18.
Peace did not arrive with the baby.
Nevaeh later confronted Blueface during a livestream after discovering him talking to Chrisean. She splashed him with water and delivered a message that requires absolutely no interpretation.
“If you want her, b##ch, go be with her, real sh#t,” she said. “Because I’m not ’bout to keep playing with you.”
Good grief.
Blueface survived the punch. The larger question is whether anybody involved can survive this relationship messiness.
I forgot we started this with a baby shower.
Maybe next time just play the games and open the gifts.
